• College and Career Readiness Volunteers

  Student Council is planning events for College & Career readiness. This means we want to get our students to start thinking about their future. One part of their future is middle school, high school and college!

  We are looking for students to visit P.S.159 and speak to the students about their upper school experience. If your older child is possibly interested, please fill out this form. We know that our former middle school students have a half-day on March 13th. We would love to make this happen on that date to accommodate their schedule. Likewise, our former HS students have a half-day on March 21st.

• Career Day- March 27, 2025

  We are excited to celebrate Career Day at P.S. 159 on Thursday, March 27th!  If you or a family member, have a career that you would like to share with your child's class and other classes in our school, please fill out the following form: Career Day Volunteers

  Guest speakers will address each class for 10-15 minute sessions. If the guest speaker would like to include handouts or take-ways with the class, we will more than happy to provide you with the amount of students in each class.  We can't wait to celebrate all the different careers within our community!

  Show your School Spirit by wearing our school T-Shirt or PS 159’s colors of Blue & White.

  You can purchase a School Spirit T-Shirt from the PTA along with a variety of other School   Spirit Active Wear.  Also, our Physical Education Teachers have shirts and apparel for sale that help support our Physical Education Program.
